I’ve always loved this particular cathedral in Antigua, Guatemala built in the 1540s. Earthquakes destroyed it several hundred years ago, revealing the beautiful blue sky above. Today this photo inspired me to write this phrase: “When the roof collapses, bask in the glory of the sun.”, and composite together an image that would convey the meaning.
The scene in this photo is so peaceful, yet the events that created it were violent and destructive. The difference in perspective is created through time. Everything is a part of our journey.

The birds do not worry … I’m trying not to worry about tomorrow.
